This weekend Springdale Cub Pack held their first night away in quite some time! Because of Covid, for many of the Cubs, this was their first night away in Scouting! They learnt how to build fires, cooked on those fires, toasted marshmallows, hiked, were introduced to OS maps, ate fish and chips, watched a film, slept in the hall, played games and took part in a photo treasure hunt! For their first Scouting night away, they all did very well and should be very proud of themselves – the leaders certainly are!! 😁
